Push Gaming releases Razor Returns
The original Razor Shark, released in 2019, was notorious within player communities for its highly volatile gameplay, and Razor Returns picks up exactly where its legendary predecessor left off.
The high-octane undersea action on the 5x5 reels is surrounded by beautiful, crisp visuals and a thumping soundtrack to get players in the mood for more rounds with their favorite predators.
Those same characters are back but have had a facelift with various metallic adornments and even gold jaws as they patrol the reels in their bid to aid players in winning big.
The features in Razor Returns are as sharp as the sharks themselves and include mystery symbols that trigger a nudge & reveal feature.
When this is activated, mystery symbols open and reveal either paying, wild shark or golden shark symbols.
The razor reveal feature is triggered if golden shark symbols appear and each position where it lands then spins through several different prizes including instant prizes, multipliers, collectors and the dynamic converter symbol.
The converter spins through all pay symbols currently on the reels. When a paying icon lands, all those of the same type are converted into golden sharks and the razor reveal feature continues.
Landing three torpedo scatter symbols triggers the bonus spins game and this is where the water can really turn red with an option to gamble the awarded bonus spins prize for the chance of even larger winnings.
The bonus spins round sees reels two and four filled with mysteries that nudge down by one position, increasing the total multiplier by one. Total multipliers, which can start at up to a maximum of 100x, apply to all wins.
With 40 paylines and a more extensive reel set for the action to play out on, the features and the 100,000x multiplier take the volatility and win potential of the original and elevate them to new heights.
Razor Returns has enjoyed more anticipation than most games, based upon the fearsome reputation of the original, and it hasn't disappointed either. Several affiliate, streamer and community reviews have already awarded the game a maximum 10 out of 10 score.
"It's been a long time in coming and we've invested a significant amount of time and effort into Razor Return's development, knowing how revered the original is with the player community," said George Fil, Group Managing Director at Push Gaming. "We're incredibly pleased with the finished product and early indications suggest this could be another huge entry into our growing portfolio of titles that we're so proud of."
